The Jacksons reluctantly agree to let 
a policewoman watch another house 
from their home. It turns out that the 
MI 5 are watching the family's best 
friends who are suspected of being 
communist spies. Are they?

The action of the play takes place in the home of the Jackson family, Ruislip, in the winter of 1960-61.
